The main fabric is a
burn-out velvet -- colors are teal, brown, tan and a small amount of
dark violet. End panels are a vintage style embroidered netting.
Vintage style braiding is a dark brown color. The fringe is a
matching teal color with an overlay of dark topaz beaded fringe.
The antique bridge lamp was made in the 1920's and is a stamped
Rembrandt lamp.
The frame is a reproduction of an
antique style done just for this lamp. The shade is all new
material and one-of-a-kind. Here at Vintage Shades our goal is
to make shades that look vintage. The teal color is a true teal -- but
a little hard to photograph and it may look more blue than teal in
some of the photos.
This shade comes with a
matching tassel that turns the light on and off. The lampshade is 15
inches by 11 inches. It is 11 inches tall including the fringe.
The inside lining is done in a straw gold color -- it is a "puckered"
lining which was used in some of the antique shades.
This antique Rembrandt bridge lamp
is 57 inches tall.
The lamp base is 10 inches at the
widest part. Design is a combination of Victorian and Deco. Lamp has
wonderful vertical brass rod.
