Antique Victorian Bridge Floor Lamp with Shade

This bridge lamp is an antique from the 1920's.  It is in good shape and is a working lamp with a pull chain socket. This is a heavy cast iron and brass bridge lamp with great design evident in the base and middle decorative element. The lamp is 61" tall to the top of the bridge arm.  The silk lampshade was made for the lamp.

This lampshade is a silk iridescent fabric with a mauve-rose background and a shock of blue. Depending on how the light is striking the fabric, the background appears to be mauve-rose at times and blue at other times.  It is a beautiful fabric, but difficult to photograph.  The fabric has dark red chenille flowers and other embroidered flowers in bronze/gold colors.  Imported gold braid and Champaign-gold beaded fringe tie it all together.

This lampshade was made in our studio. We use the finest fabrics on all of our shades;  each one is fully lined inside with silk. The quality and workmanship are unsurpassed.  We have been making lampshades for over 12 years and our entire approach is to make very unique pieces that are usually one-of-a-kind. Please email us if you have questions about this item or others.  If you are looking for a quality lampshade, we have one for you.
