What an amazing lamp!  In this one piece we can see Victorian, Deco, and Art Nouveau styles all coming together.  The lampshade was made in our studio ---  especially for this lamp.  This is the first time we have used this style of bridge shade and the results are pleasing to anyone looking for an over-the-top antique piece.  Although the shade is new, it has a very vintage style and coloring.

The marble piece,  half way up the lamp rod was the inspiration for the colors in the shade.  Upper panels are a vintage style heavy net over a green silk.  The bottom sides are a dark gold burn-out silk velvet.  Front panel is beaded netting over gold silk.  Braiding used is a matching green and gold -- very vintage looking in style and color.  Beaded fringe was chosen to reflect the lines of the shade.  And please notice the large matching tassel used to turn the lamp on and off. 

The antique Rembrandt Bridge Lamp is from the 1920's.  It is 58" from the base to the top of the arm.  This lamp is all original with nice patina on the metal surfaces.  It is great quality with brass vertical rod and deco style base.  In the center of the lamp stand is an original round marble piece.  This piece is golden brown and medium sage green.  The shade was designed to coordinate with this piece of marble.
