Vintage Bridge Lamp Shade

The top is a silk burn-out velvet in slate blue, brown, and black -- with a paisley design.
The entire shade was designed around this wonderful antique trim.
The fringe was hand dyed to match the slate blue elements in the shade; and the tip of the fringe is dyed brown to add authenticity.
This bridge lampshade is one of a kind and it is over the top. If you like colors that are true to the Victorian period then this shade would be perfect for that special room. The top is a silk burn-out velvet in slate blue, brown, and black -- with a paisley design. Underneath this top fabric is a unique patterned silk in the same colors.
The smaller silk panels are light straw-gold, brown, light gray and slate blue. Along the edge of the shade (the cuff area), an antique trim is used -- it is a slate blue chenille with metallic thread. The entire shade was designed around this wonderful trim.
The fringe was hand dyed to match the slate blue elements in the shade; and the tip of the fringe is dyed brown to add authenticity. Six-inch coffee colored beaded fringe cover the fabric fringe. This bridge lampshade has a uno fitter that threads onto a threaded socket. It is 14" by 10.5" at the top of the shade-- it is 11" tall including the fringe.
